The Dhirdham temple is a famous Hindu temple. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The shape of this temple is in the impressive Nepali style. It is located in the centre of the market place of Darjeeling in West Bengal. In 1939, the Nepali King Purna Bahadur Pradhan had this temple built. The Gorkhali architect Beg Raj Sakya designed this temple. He preferred to design a model of the Pashupathinath temple complex in Kathmandu in Nepal. When you enter the temple's website, you can glimpse a white-coloured sculpture of Lord Shiva walking through the temple.This form shows the five characteristic expressions of Shiva together with his regular 0.33 eye.
